What is the benefit for me?
There are many health and fitness benefits associated with physical activity and endurance exercise training, such as improved physiologic, metabolic and psychological parameters, as well as decreased risk of many chronic diseases. Physical exercise clearly prevents occurrences of cardiac events, reduces the incidence of stroke, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, some cancers, osteoporosis, obesity, depression and anxiety.  This holds true from middle age to older age, indicating that it is never to late to become physically active to achieve health benefits.
